my bearded dragon died today of natural causes after 7 years which is above the average so im happy she had a good life. im thinking of getting a tortoise now and im thinking of these three species

Turkish spur thighed (greek, mediteranean)
Hermans tortoise (eastern)
Horsefields tortoise

i cant seem to find any sites that accurately tell me how large they get,
anyone who has owned any of these types of tortoise and is knowledgeable could you please tell me the max sizes of these species and which would be best to go for and preferably why?

thanks alot
EL

Hermans are absolute best because you are assured they are cb, they are moist hardy wich doesant happen with russians and many greeks (wich means that if it rains you dont need to rush them in unless its really heavy rain) and very adaptable toises. The most inportant consideracions its that they must have outdoor enclosures as big as possible, very important, and their diet must be based in weeds like dandilion ,grasses and plantago with dark leafy supermarket greens as complement. And of corse they hirbernate wich can be tricky. But asside that litle probs in keeping them

Have you also considered a margineteds;) Pretty cool too and same care
