Total Recall Movie Remake

set to release next summer, i got a couple of gripes about this movie

1. why would you remake this movie? I can see it being remade in another 20 years maybe, but why now? this is an odd remake for me

2. Colin friggin Farrell??? Damn it!!! I'm a big pre-govenator Arnold fan, and colin just does NOT fit the shoes man. One thing that ticks me off is remakes with poor casting. not that i like or dislike colin farrell but how are you gonna take a role that big arse arnold played and remake it with the shortest actor you can find who's not a midget???

a couple of ups to this move is that they are pretty much sticking to the original storyline based on what i read, and I'm liking the chicks they chose to play the leading lady roles.

Kate Beckinsale will play the wife, and Jessica Biel will play the brunette good guy chick. can't wait for the cat fight scene, oh yea, the blood will be pumping to my naughty regions

Kuato is being played by Bill Nighy. the guy that played Rufus in Harry Potter - Deathly Hollow movies 1 and 2. he also was in Underworld with Kate as Viktor

Rock isn't as good of an actor as Colin but i'd go with Rock for a more fitting actor physically to play the role

OK, so saw this last night.

First of all, to those who said I should see expendables 2 over this movie, you guys know who you are. Y'all failed.

This movie kicks the crap outta the old farts movie. Good thing the double feature at the local drive in was expendables 2 and total recall, oh yeah. Scored

It was surprisingly good. Great start, great middle, ending was weakest part of the movie.
