I just received a letter from the water treatment plant saying the drinking water has high Total Trihalomethanes above drinking water standards is it safe to do a water change? They are saying it’s at 0.083mg/L while the standard is 0.080 mg/L.
Thats only 0.003mg/L above the safety limit, and 0.003mg/L is 0.003 ppm is 3 ppb (parts per billion) is a very small amount so I don't think its a major concern. Frankly I'm skeptical that the drinking water plant can reliably test 3 ppb.
