i was leaving my house going north and a car was headed south on a two lane road. for some reason she veered in my lane clipping the truck in front of me, she was sideways sliding down the road i went off the road to miss her but she tried to correct the vehicle and overcorrected and lost control of her car sending it right in my path and hit me head on!! my truck went airborn and rolled once or twice and slid to a stop, i undid my seatbelt and fell on the roof and crawled out of the passanger side window which was broken and soon as i got out of my truck, her car caught on fire. so i was trying to pull her out while dozens of people watched and then two guys came running up and helped me get her out before she burned to death. her dash was completly in her lap i'm surprised we were able to get her out, she was unconsious and had a coumpond break in her right leg but still alive!!!:headbang2:headbang2

i'm goin tomorrow to see my truck and what i can get out of it. i'll post plenty of pics:D

That's why you never trust old ladies in the car. A little old lady backed up into my car while it was parked! I spent 3,000 dollars to get it fixed! Sorry for your car.

Sorry about your truck but glad to hear you're okay.

never trust ANY women in cars! gad everyone got out ok

Wow that sounds really serious! I am sorry about the loss but really glad everyone made it out ok. Did you get to talk to the lady yet? Keep us updated.

Glad to hear everyone made it out ok, good thing you wore your seatbelt and were conscious and alert enough to go help her. I honestly think people should have to retake their drivers test around 60 years old or so, most probably wouldnt make it past the vision test!

This isnt a 'womens' fault. Its the persons fault, be it a male or female. When I read the story, I had an exact video rolling through my head of what it would of been like from past experiances, though mine was not so harsh (Dont ask me about it).

If you were in ewurms car, they would be nothing left of you. Good 'ol yank tanks.

i couldn't agree more every close call has been a girl/woman not paying attention to the road. to make things worse it was a girl!:wall: I only agree from my personal experiences not all girls/women are bad drivers.(not wanting to offend the few girls we have here.)

couldn't agree with you more i'm glad i made it out with just a few dents and dings. i had someone watching over me that night. I haven't talked to her yet but her boyfriend and father called me yesterday th thank me for helping get her out of her car.(it was pretty crispy) i found out that she's in the ICU part of the hospital, she's had a few surgeries and has 16 broken bones! which include: leg, feet, ribs and a few others. they would like to meet me and the other two gentlemen that helped get her out of the car.

my sister is going to send me pics today or tomorrow so ill post them as soon as i get them. Thank all of you for the kind words.

Glad you made it out ok
