Toucan as pet? its REAL!

but I'd find it pretty exotic in Canada!!!

This toucan bird is actually forsale in Toronto ~ local ads

Pretty pricey, needs a large flight cage and it is not tame

I doubt they make a good house pet

but its very cute

me love

a LBS... haha local bird store..... had a "mini toucan" (i forget the scientific name) for sale for $1000 i think.

Are these bred in captivity, by breeders? I would think this is something thats pretty lame to keep if wild caught, as many are probably killed in transit and a bird like this isn't going to stand a small cage.
