Got home from work and found the Florida Gar dry on the concrete basement floor. Picked the gar up and felt it twitch in my grasp so immediately dropped it back in the 180. The gar took a gasp so I let it be floating upside down. My thoughts were it probably injured itself internally but to my surprise the gar was laying on the bottom and swam up for a gulp of air. The Florida Gar was given to me from a great friend and member. ☺ Tbh didn't have knowledge that gar were jumpers. I hope the gar is ok though will find out tomorrow.

Hope it pulls through.

Found one of my old floridas under a pile of clothes about 8 hours after I had "lost" it. pulled through for almost 6 more months afterwards, theres a reason they are living fossils lol.

Until fairly recently, no one figured great whites were capable of jumping/breeching either. After being in this hobby for a long time, I put a cover on everything.......even for a puffer.
I say its gonna make it :)
