k so i have a 110 ten and today just got chocolate cichlid and didnt relize how aggresive they are and its beating up my oscars. anyone who has them, which one did u like better, which should i get ride of?:feedback:

I would try re-arranging the structure and keep a close watch on them. Oscars typically don't take any crap. I assume they're trying to establish territory and once the new guy gets put in his place, hopefully things will calm down. Rearranging things may help.

The 110 isnt an ideal tank size for these fish either because the length doesnt give them much space to run. Changing the tank around is a must and if the temp is high you can try lowering it a little that always helped me

um the 110 ten is good right now cause there only about 6 to 7in hopefully upgradeing soon(meaning in like a year or two cause i got the 110 like 2 months ago)

Personally I'd keep the choc but, yes, they can sometimes be grumpy old b_ggers.

I have found mine to be territorial but not overall aggressive. He will defend his "spot" (but not to the point of damaging any other fish) but elsewhere in the tank he is pretty laid back. Make sure you have enough decor in the tank for him to have a recognisable area that can be just his, and he may well calm down in the ret of the tank.
Re-arranging eveything is also a good idea.
