Tough ID challenge

This might be hard the fish is
1. 3"-4"
2. Blueish on top then black line thro the middle and white on bottom
3. BIG head at least and inch long and has Very big,sharp teeth
4. loves to bary its self in the sand
5. tiny black dots on top of head
6. i got it from getting goggles and diving down in bout 3-4' of salt water
7. i got it from the coast of Panama City Beach
8. it ate a snook-like fish that was 3"
9. he isnt very active
10. he breaths calmly and doesnt gasp at all
11. hes in a 4g with two flounder (1.5" and 2.5") and a sheet crab(3" across)
12. hes goin in my 24g with the small flounder to see how big he gets
13. he has fins on his stomach area that he uses to bary himself
14. he has a normal boady style and isnt like frog fish in the way that they have all the points stickin of his body
15. his eyes face upwards and so does his mouth its like he sits in the sand all day waitin for food
I dare you guys try to solve this mystery its gonna be hard!!!:ROFL::grinno:
 
I couldnt find a decent pic of a soapfish and it sorta looks like a stonefishk except it doesnt have those warty things all over it and i dont see a poisonis spike and im not gonna check either!!!!!
 
sand perch?
 
Its a saltwater fish. I thought perch were just fresh. but the reason i posted here is because he ate the small flounder on the way back to my house from panama so he wont have any friends for a while. and he digs himself all the way under the sand with his eyes and mouth stickin out.
