Just got done fishing an endli out of my wet/dry, was actually easier than I thought, but not what I wanted to be doing. The endlis are 3-5", started with 10, now have 9. This was the second endli in two days to have made it past the 1/2" hardware cloth that I'm using to cover the 1.5" overflows. The first one went unnoticed for an entire day and died while sitting on the poly filter pad
This second one made it past the filter pad, through the gap on the edge of the drip plate, through eggcrate, past the scrubbies, through more eggcrate, over the baffles to end up hanging out inbetween a heater, and the mag 24 pump. He and I were very fortunate that I decided to check the sump today to be fished out and returned to the tank
When I set the tank up, I didn't plan on putting fish this small in it, but I couldn't pass up the great deal on all these baby endlis. Now I know they ARE small enough to make it through the hardware cloth...... tomorrow morning I'll be installing screen over the overflows to prevent this from happening again.
