Is it possible to drill toughened glass as I wanted to try and convert a tropical to reef ready but without having to use overflow boxes as the tank has to sit flush against the wall.

I know it is possible to drill a tank, but when you say toughened glass I am not sure if you mean tempered glass or plate glass. What size tank is it?

this is what happens when you drill tempered glass. wait for it......:)

Wow I knew tempered glass means no drilling but had never seen it done, thanks for posting that vid!

My 120g Marine land tank has a tag on the bottom that tells you not to drill the tempered glass bottom.

Thanks for all the replys,I think I will have to change my plans.
The tank in question is 82"X30"x22" and has 1" thick base and 3/4" sides and I wanted to make it reef ready without having to use overflow boxes. But at least I wont have any nasty surprises now.
