...with 6lb test from the pier!

I routinely use only 6lb test line while wading or from a boat a boat in the flats but a fish of this size off a pier is a prize catch. If the line barely touches the barnacle encrusted pylons its all over. Some how after a 25 minutes battle the fish gave in!

Also caught a snail.

Oh and for those that think that is small for a tournament fish, in FL we have a slot limit of 18-27" meaning they have to be over 18 and less than 27" to keep. This fish was just under 27" making it the perfect fish to keep for a tournament.
