That is one of the cruelest and most disgusting things on the planet. I hate it, poor cobra.
 
It is very common in that part of the world for them to de-fang the snakes (and although it is wrong to do so to any degree, they are generally not de-fanged in a nice way, just ripped out). This one may be defanged too, i don't know, but this is an example of another common practice which is sewing the mouth shut. Basically the snake will have a long horrible death, while being constantly stressed by humans (as it is in the video). It is extremely, totally, sick.
 
oh and to add to it, there are a lot of examples of animal cruelty such as this, and it's usually for the tourists "benefit". If you go over there and see this kind of thing, don't look amused, and never give them any money. In some cases when the animals can be saved people offer to buy the animal from them and then release it, but even then, they are making money out of it...
