who has u hooked the makers of battery's or toy makers , do they own tha same , cells cost more than toys

little kids get really pissed when their parents don't have the batteries to run their new Christmas presents. Always have a crapload of batteries, because of that and your remote always dies at the wrong time.
Radio Shack pretty much counts on this as some of it's main business, I just want to know why everything doesn't already come with battery packs like rc cars and cell phones? A new toy on Christmas without batteries sucks so bad it's almost funny, except to the kids or parents!
