It will eventually need a more suitable home than 700 gallons...such as a grill.

Well they arent deep sea, rarely venturing into more than 80' of water. and believe me im stoked to get it. my uncle just caught a 75lber this year and they caught the state record for va this year, i think 102lb. and i prefer to slice it thin, against the grain and flour and fry. :)

Here he is! i took pics of the tank too, but he wouldn't stop moving so here is the calm pic of him acclimating.

He will be cool till he outgrows that tank. Feed him market seafood, dont medicate, and when the time comes, you can eat him.

Cobia are one of the SW fish that we can breed now for agriculture purposes...so cool sustainable thing.

.....hey you should get one of those giant tubs they have for sale. One of them as a 9 foot radius and holds a little more the a 1000 gallons!!!!!May not be big enough for the entire life, but last long. Also where did you get this fish!!!!!Please tell me!!!

our distributers carry them now. they are being aquacultured in florida now. they also had tr pompano, and lookdown. And since the time of the first post, he is now over 5"!!

...distributers as in ?.... i catch pompanos and lookdowns off the the bach all the time. Never realize how easy it is to catch a fish on rod and reel...then buying lol.

PICS PICS!!! COBIA!!!!
