The fisb in question is listed as fishers woodcat by the lfs.

From the brief search i did they are prett active and dont need to be in groups....is this the case ?

Could be fisheri but a woodcatfish none the less.

Most are nocturnal and active then. Will always hide if a space provided. They can be kept in groups or alone. I had trachy galeatus and was the similar. This is my impression.

I know nothing about them specifically. Didn't someone just score a group of adults? A member from UK, IIRC?

I just got a group of four. Very active, ravenous eaters, kept at 78F with a variety of other SA catfish.

The fish pictured is definitely a fisheri.
Active while lights on?

Thats what i read. MooseTheWizard MooseTheWizard have any pics ?

I tried to post a link, but I don't have enough posts to do so. I have two gifs on gfycat.

MadeupSardonicEquestrian is the first.

OptimisticFoolhardyAlleycat is the second.

Yes, very. It depends on when they were last fed. They are pretty inactive for 1-2 days after a good feeding, but remain active at night. When hungry, they're active constantly until fed.

You can post a vid by uploading to youtube and clicking on the movie reel Screenshot_20170625-131015.jpg

I am aware of how to post links/videos, but as I had under 4 posts it would not let me do so. I think after I submit this post, I'll be able to go back and edit the original post for convenience.
