I have a pair of Red Belly Pacus in a large tank with some Oscars and a widebar Dat. I've kept more than one Pacu in a tank before, and they have plenty or room. For whatever reason, this particular pair do nothing but fight all day, so I'd like to get rid of one.

If anyone has room for one of them, and/or would like to trade for another fish, let me know. I do not want to get involved with shipping. I live on Long Island, and would be willing to drive within reason, or hop on the LIRR, in order to find a good home for the fish.

Keep me posted,
Scott

LOL- I know, and I have the room to keep him if need be. Sometimes people look for larger common fish. After the ones in your tank get to a certain size, everthing available at the pet store becomes "bite sized" :naughty:

How big is your tank?

The tank they are in now is a 125. There are only 6 other fish in there: four 6-8" oscars, a 6" widebar Dat and a Pleco. I also have another dat that I am growing out in a smaller tank. I am shopping for something in the 240 gallon range for the Oscars and Pacus, and want to leave the two Dats in the 125.

If no one is interested in the Pacu, hopefully things settle out between them as they grow. If not, I have a garage full of tanks that I've accumulated over 30+ years of fishkeeping, and a very understanding wife
