trading pacu for silver dollars?

i bought a baby pacu thinking it would only grow to 12-16 inches like i was told, but i was later told that the species i have will grow to 24 inches. someone recomended trading him for a few silver dollars, is this a good idea? he is in with some aggresive south american cichlids. how many silver dollars could i get to replace the pacu if i trade him? thanks

it is a 125 and the other fish are: 2 jack dempseys, 1 blood parrot, 1 bristlenose catfish, i am going to buy, the tank is not yet set up since they are all babys now, 1 freshwater lionfish 1 oscar 1 convict cichlid 1 green terror 2-3 firemouth cichlids and maybe 1 rapheal's catfish

Your lucky if you could give that pacu away. One sd would be a good trade in my opinion.

actually sorry but as luck would have it the "pacu" is not really a pacu. i posted a pix and someone identified it as a species of silver dollar. they said that they have 6 and that they only get 6-10 inches. several others agreed. so sorry for wasting your time.
