Tragedy in the fish room this morning..

After the longest night shift in history, and one giant ordeal over a short draw and a theif of a security guard, i thought my day ntget any worse..

I stopped by a LFS today and called up my good friend Rob (TheFishGuy7) about a nice longnose gar for sale. I thought i would do the nice thing and pick this guy up so that Rob wouldnt miss out on the opportunity and house him untill i could meet up with Rob this weekend. I get home, acclimate him to the tank with My esoxs as well as another pickup, and go get in the shower.. I get out come back into the room to check on them and my proze FEMALE esox was dead.. she must have had a heart attack from the presence of the gar.. needless to say i was pissed and re housed the male esox at a friends house.. take a look at this beauty.. today i will mourn my loss..

She was almost 11 inches and swollen with eggs : (

thanks for all the kind words.. i hope that the male survives.. he got put back into a very large tank with alot of fish.. i will contact the guy tommorow to see how he is doing.. There gos my breeding project...

I feel everyones pain when they lose a fish for no good reason. i havent lost a fish in ages.. brings me back to beeing a kid again : (
