My mom just called me and told me that i lost some of my fishes..... damn. apparently the hose of the 2 aerators were unplugged by someone causing our maid to find my 21" TSN dead along with my 23" aba aba Pbass (not the temensis) Cigar (golden) shark and Giant Gourami .. (I worked so damn hard and risked so much to make this set up work)

i initially thought that they could have fought or something cause the hose to be unplugged but then, my mom told me that there were no bite wounds our what so ever. perhaps it's just one of those freak accidents we never want to happen... but stil demn.

I may naver find another aba aba that wouldn't kill it's tankmates...

it's just sad that i raised these guys from 3 inch or smaller to be huge monsters in less than a year...

but then again, thank God that my Alligator Gar, Temensis, Pacu Laprdei Pleco and Silver Aro survived the ordeal. my mom told me they're doing fine already and are stabilizing. i told them to do a water change and they're back to normal.

man i've been here in LA since march 29 and it's sad that when theres just 9 more days before i go home, this f'n thing happend.

House maids in the philippines are always the cause of my fish's death.

I don't think the unplugged air pump caused the problem as aba aba and giant gourami can survive even in polluted water as they are air breather. At 25" aba aba is one hardy fish. The tems, pacu and silver survived and all 3 fish are not air breather. So there must be something that killed it. Could be toxic that went in the water that killed those fish. Saw a large 30"+ aba aba at cartimar when I went there in January.

Sorry for your lost
