train to eat pellets

how to train tortoise take pellets?
how long can we starve them without food and water?

Try soaking them in some fruit juice, or mix them up with some ripe red fruits with juice, it always worked for me.

I used frozen mix of berries from the Giant...and when defrosted they had a crucial red juice that they where in...I would mix that in with the pellets, they would take on the red color and flavor and all the box turtles, and torts took to it and would begin eating them.
