Got 2 WC Intermedias about a month ago

I successfully got one of them to eat market shrimps, he followed the lead of my bigger mono

But the other won't bite, and only takes feeders

Any thoughts? Suggestions? I HATE using feeders, and really could use some advice! Thanks

Go cold turkey on the feeders. The holdout sees what the others are eating and when it gets hungry enough it should follow suit.

Cut out feeders, the stubborn one will learn from the other two. Stuff your shrimp with pellets and then slowly switch your bass on to pellets. My intermedia were on pellets within two weeks of getting them and they were only 2" at the time.

hi, sorry ive been away for the past fe
"w months, hmmm i would personally wait till their 5" and starve them as they would have built some mass by then and their immunity would have gotton stronger. 2" like rlane did would be risky for their price tag for me,

hope it helps.

these methods should be a good method to start with :) , i personally introduced a pellet eating koi to their tank for that purpose,

Good luck! and please keep an eye out for sunken bellys, don't starve too long, (peacocks a pretty easly to spot for sunken bellys

Thanks for all your help!

I should have specified, these guys are 10" +, I have only fed feeders once to the one that won't take anything else, and you can tell he is smaller than the one that will

I don't want to starve him for too long, I'm thinking maybe silversides/smelt, ill try those tomorrow
