Anyone ever train their crawfish? I have a couple crawfish in an outdoor pond, and they have learned where I feed my fish. They come to the top of the water just like the fish when I feed. There is overhanging plants all around the edge of the pond. The crawfish crawl up to the top with their claws sticking out of the water. They are almost upside down when they are doing this. I can drop some flakes in close to them and they grab them. It's not like they just sit their and wait for me to feed. When I start feeding, they come a running haha. Anyone ever see anything like this? I think its really cool.

Crayfish can easily be trained to do repetitive behaviors with the incentive of food.

Usually you see people teach them the "glass tap" trick. But if you have the patience you can teach them other things, too. Nothing fancy but they do seem to grasp the concept of "if I do this, I get food" or "if I go here, I get food" and so forth.

And they have an excellent sense of smell, so if they're hungry, a little food will certainly get their attention in a hurry lol

thats cool
