training my tig

Can't get my damn 5" tigrinis off of blackworms!!!!
He's been on black worms since I got him at 3".
What do I need to do?
How long can I safely starve him so he'll take chopped shrimp?
Any advice?
I'm dying here!!!

make a spear and stabe the shrimp and wiggle it in front of him. Starve him for 5 days.

slice up the shrimp into very thin pieces, try mixing the pieces with the blood worms worked for my rays when i had them, I converted them in about 4 days!

This is pretty much exactly what I did with my Juruence.

Except I used a really long pair of tweezers and didnt have to starve him, I just kept putting it in front of him and making sure to touch a whisker with it, this usualy promotes a "strike", after that he will now eat pellets and all sorts of food.
