So guys as most of you know I have ptsd, the connected disorders (depression, agoraphobia, etc), and a traumatic brain injury. Well yesterday I started my part in a study on transcendental meditation through the VA. Brothers and sisters it is amazing and I would highly suggest everyone try it especially those struggling with ptsd or depression. Like I said I started yesterday and I can already see how it is a beneficial tool.

One of the classes that I just finished touched upon transcendental meditation. I was intrigued when I read about it-this has reminded me that I wanted to look into it a bit further. I imagine that you will gain much through this study. Thank you for posting this, and best of luck to you!

could you elaborate a little more on exactly what Transcendental meditation is please?

Oh I see, if I have to make a purchase, I have my own way of meditation, been practicing for over a decade and I feel better every single time :grinyes:

Dude, thats awesome! Its really cool to see that the VA is offering it too, glad to see them trying to offer a wide variety of treatments. I'd love to hear more about what you do in the study (if your comfortable sharing).
