My Rotkiel pair layed eggs again in my comm tank, but the other fishers there are quite big, I'm planning to move the eggs to a 15 gallon tank, Should i use water from the same tank?or can i use dechlorinated water for the eggs?

any tips with artificially hatching eggs?

I haven't try this yet.But I think using the same tank water would be the most important thing. If not then the water parameter should be the same of the previous tank and the new water where you gonna hatch artificially.

This can be a tricky process, and i would probably recommend that you wait til they begin to hatch, then syphon off the new hatchlings rather than eggs. Either way you will need to use the same tank water that they are in now for this to be a success.
If you still prefer to remove the eggs, then you will need to keep the eggs submerged in water at all times. If you prepare the new tank first, then use a bucket to transfer whatever your fish have used to lay on, into the new tank.
keep the new tank well oxygenated, even placeing an airstone close to the eggs to keep any debri from landing on them and transfering fungus to them ...
Good luck

Use tank water & keep submerged. Water curculating around eggs is important. A little Melafix to prevent fungus, a cycled sponge filter if you have one would be perfect. Good luck!

I just did this with my escondido carpintis pair. They laid 1000 some eggs. IN the past they would their fry as soon as they hatch because they are in a community tank. On monday they laid eggs and fertilized them. I waited 2 days afterwards, then I pulled the pot they laid the eggs in. I put the pot in a 1 gallon bucket and let it float in the tank with the tank water they were laid in. As the fry hatch, they fall to the bottom. I change the water in the 1 gallon bucket everyday. I am about to start feeding them egg yolk and BBS soon.

GOodluck with yours.

If you feel the eggs are in danger it's no problem to pull them and hatch them away from the parents. I've done this many times with a pair of Green Umbees and many others. You can set up a small hatching tank. I've always used the water from the tank they've been laid in. It's not that important to keep the eggs submerged in water during the transfer. Just transfer them quickly. Put the slate, peice of wood or watever the pair laid the eggs on at a 45 deggree angle in the hatching tank so the fry will fall to the bottom of the tank when they begin to hatch. Put an airstone near the egg plack to keep the water moving around the eggs. You can use methalyne blue at half the recommended strength to prevent some of the fungus from the unfertile eggs from spreading. This is the method I've used with great success, GOOD LUCK!!!

thanks :) I will try to take a picture of the pair, the eggs are currently in a pail. but was not abkle to check them.
