transferring my flowerhorn while cleaning and blue led light

hi guys i just want to ask if its okay for my flowerhorn to be transferred to another tank while im doing my water change. the temperature of the two tanks are the same. is it okay that i will transfer my flowerhorn to the other tank while im cleaning his tank??? and also can my blue led light produces algae in my tank? thanks guys

I personally would not advise it: catching/netting him (twice) will possibly hurt him and for sure stress him out -- stressed fish are more susceptible to disease. But why would you want to move him during water changes -- did he bite you? If he's attacking you/cleaning equipment too much you can slide in a temporary divider, then clean one side of the tank, then the other.

Also yes I've read that blue lights left on too much can contribute to algae growth, but not really sure, I don't use them.

It is a really bad idea moving the fish each water change...It's a lot of stress on the fish.

Is there any specific reason why you want to do that?
