transparent fins

so i got a flowerhorn was very beat up when i got him fins all tore nd every thing....now his fins healing fast hes eating all tht fun good stuff but the fins that grew in have no color will he ever get it back? or will it stay like tht i kno for my demsey the color was there as it was newly growing ripped fins
