Should be no problem. You can always pick up a battery powered air pump for insurance.

Short drive, should be ok, but as said, battery pumps are really cheap. Ive moved fish and kept them in rubbermaids with nothing for hours. Should be fine. Getting him into the contained should be fun tho

You'll be fine I've moved a large silver with less water. One thing to consider with the battery operated pumps is if the temperature is a factor. With the battery op pump running the water will cool down quicker.
