Hey, I've been looking for an answer to this and can't find anything. I had to purchase a tank FAST because we had some issues with the old one, some fighting fish etc... and my gf said your Arowana's have to go NOW. So I wen't out and got a 125 (not sure on the measurements) but the Aro's are just baby's. Bigger is planned in the near future.

So I wen't and got the tank used from somebody here in town, took probably 60 gallons or so of old water, all the gravel, canister filter which stayed wet and warm in the truck, and a few cichlids. It was set up for about 10 days. During which I seen nitrates with the API test kit. So I got the Aro's home. 1 died within 4 hours, it was all curled up. The other one seems fine. Now the reason I've posted in this forum is I can't get the ammonia to come down, I would say it's not quite .25ppm. The tap water is also testing the same so water changes do nothing. I'm using prime. Any ideas?

Sorry for the long post, sometimes I tend to go on and on. Just worried about the other Aro.:nilly:
