I'm moving from coast to coast and will be driving. How would I go about transporting a small soft shell turtle, hopefully it will take 4 days but it could take longer. Will be be ok with food?

It'll be fine in a tub with a couple inches of water. I doubt it will eat during the trip so I wouldn't worry about it.

im going to SoCal. I hope everything goes good with the turtle and when I get settle in I'll get some new stock.

I would have a friend you trust take care of it till you settle in and then just pay to have him shipped over night but thats just me it would most likely be fine for a four day trip.

Just get a tub with a couple inches of water( add freshwater every day), to reduce stress add a towel over the container and don't let him get to cold. Soft shells r one of my favorite turtles, what kind is yours?

Does it has to be in water while the transport. It a Frt by the way.

Will it be ok cover with a wet towel for most trip or should I still put it in couple inches of water. I just dnt want it get toss around in the tub or container.
