hey everyone. Haven't posted in a while. I'm going to be picking up a 300 gallon glass tank and cabinet later this week. Only problem is that it's over an hour away. May be a dumb question, but what is the best way to secure it to my 16 foot trailer? Should I put plywood or styrofoam or something underneath and on top then ratchet strap it down, or what? Moving blankets? Just dont want to spend all this time and money to get home with a pile of broken glass on my trailer;)

If it's an open trailer I'd build a cheap plywood box to place over it to protect the sides from rocks.

X2 for the plywood box, everyone notices rocks hitting cars from every direction when driving,i would also use some foam under it,trailers bounce alot

good luck! let us know how it goes. i hauled my 180g setup in the back of a tundra not covered for a 6-hour drive.
