Transporting Bass

If you know how to package fish for shipping....otherwise it will end up as a dead bass.

I would have the shipper whoever he is do small amount of water change (25-30% W/C every other day) for a week or two...and on the week of shipping, I would have him fast the fish to purge any poops out of its system, use a 3-4 mil bag (2mil imo is too thin), double bag the fish with o2 and an ammonia absorb pad just incase the box takes longer then expected....and just incase the fishes might get lost in transit, I would add a heat pack cover the middle just a little so that it wont release as much heat as it should, and have him tape it inside the box.... remember these guys can live in temperature as high as 86, but do poor in anything below 50's. So if youre in a cold location...Id say it wont hurt to ask for a heat pack if the shipper knows whats hes doing.... Now if its a rookie shipper with less then 100 box under its belt...id be a little shakey...
