transporting convict fry

Okay so my convicts just spawned I went upstairs this morning to see about 100 fry swimming around. I have one of those net breeders I was wondering if I could siphon them out and into the net breeder? so I can feed them easily and protect them from becoming a snack.

Can I do this?? and if not how long should I wait, and if I should, should I leave the lights on so my ghost knife, and or peacock eel dont come out and eat them. With my BGK not having scales and being a sensitive fish I dont want the convicts attacking/ killing him. and do i need to put the parents with them? the breeder is pretty small for them plus the babies to be in there

okay do you turn the light off though? or leave it on 24 hours till you move them?
