Ok, my wife an I are planning to go on a trip for a few days..not anywhere out of state but only within the state to visit a few family members...our plan of transportation was to travel by train..and on our trip I was planning to stop by what ever Fish stores there was that I see .....is it possible to carry on a fish in a small cooler with me?...I have never traveled by train before, this is why i am asking.

If not I guess I'll drive.

Thanks in advance!

I dont know about carry ons but Amtrak wouldnt allow a "shipment" of fish in the baggage car using there shipping service. Tried to save some big time $$$ on same day shipping it would have only been like 12 bux instead of 55. I hope this works for you though.

There is no law stating that its illegal (I believe), but you may want to some how hide them or some train services will make you pay a fee.
