I am going to be moving some large frontosa 6-10 in and cytocara moorii in a few weeks. I have moved at different times and had to move smaller fish in my back seat in rubbermaid totes before, but I am nervous about moving fish that are larger then 6 inches. Should I use fresh water in the totes? and is a airator needed? I know I can only put a few fish in eash tote due to size.. which will be a P.I.T.A due too the number of dolphins. I think there is 14 of them and around 8 fronnies. I plan on moving the dolphs one day and the fonnies on another just so I dont stress myself out too much. I will be moving their tanks at the same time as the fish so yes it will be a new set up basically but I will keep their substrate wet and keep the filters seeded as they are tanks that have been up over a year. Any tips for me on moving larger fish and how to make this go smoothly? I will be moving them about 25 miles The tank sizes are 125 and 130 and they have to come down 3 flights of stairs... UGGGGGGG.. so we are talking about complete tear downs of tanks.:WHOA: This is me for fishies...LOL >>:screwy:
