hey getting different info on the proper way to transport live rock for my tank setup? what the best method and do i have to wait for the water temp to become normal before putting in?

really unless you have sensitive corals your overthinking it. Using your aquarium water, fill a bucket and add your live rock.. now if your mailing it this is a diffrent story

Your live rock wiill be used to your water temp when you add your water to the bucket ...

ok im setting up a new tank so i should wait until its warmer your saying or it basically will adjust to the water in the bucket temp?

oh if your setting up a new tank it will adjust to temps in the bucket more than a few hours is risking it. You will def. be fine. Just curious what kind of live rock do you have?

They ship liverock to you wrapped in wet paper...if you can keep it wet, great...otherwise just do your best. Spray bottle can work. There is going to be some die off no matter what.

Pieces that have coral and inverts that you want to keep on them should be kept submerged if possible.
