My trapdoor just gave birth to a bunch of snails, I'm thinking of moving the big one to my tank with my Jar and bichirs to help with the algae control. Is it alright to keep them with these fish?
I really wouldn't recommend it as trapdoors are pretty shy anyway. I tried keepign snails with my polys and they didn't eat them, but they certainly gave them alot of attention which did not end well.
