Trapa natans

Hello every one
I am doing my best to have a good planted tanks, Few days ago i got what i think is a Trapa natans
It is floating on a 20 Gallon tank now, It seems i can\t find anything on the internet on how to take care of this plant or even how to put it in my tank

Can you please help me with it

Trapa natans is a water chestnut .. seems like it roots into the ground and sends up those triangular leaves, sorta like lily pads.

IMO .. root tabs would help, but it seems to grow like a weed in the wild and therefor may not need much care.
