In another thread earlier, I posted about a new albino oscar that had what I believe was internal parasites. A few days in a hospital tank, and it died before I was able to start treating her. Symptoms were being lethargic, eventually stopped eating, and the stringy white poop.
A few days later, the second oscar developed exactly the same. And, earlier today, she too died.
So... I'm thinking its a good idea to treat the entire tank for possible parasites.
This is what I am planning to do. Any advise is greatly appreciated (ie. am I overdoing it? should I use another method? etc.).
Going to a water change, and then dose the tank with epsom salt (1 tbsp/10 gallons).
For the next 5-7 days, treat the tank with Paraguard, and medicate the fish food with metroplex+Focus (maybe GarlicGuard). Or, medicate with API General Cure+Focus+GarlicGuard.
Am I on the right track? Got this reading various sources online, nothing that I've ever tried in the past.
Tank has 5 silver dollars, 5 S. jurupari, and a JD. All fish are about 2". A few nerite snails as well, though I can remove them during treatment.
