Treating constipation in catfish?

Hi everyone, I have a 6 inch electric catfish who seems to be constipated... What is the best treatment for him? The internet is telling me to feed him peas to act as a laxative. I feel like there is no chance of him eating peas... ha. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Add some epsom salt to the tank. You can also try feeding your catfish some live foods.
