Noticed some of my fish had some fun rot issues a few weeks ago. I immediately treated and the fins stopped rotting away. The fins have not started to grow back yet and I’ve started to become concerned. I know the damage is not from other fish. I do have a mbuna but it’s surprisingly peaceful. What should I do?

How long has it been and what fish are we talking about? In general if there is no further damage I would assume it will get better eventually. The only time I have seen fins not grow back is when they are damaged to the muscle below. In my experience it is usually a few weeks in most normal bony fish.

Tetras, gouramis, and some other small stuff

Only the gouramis and tetras have fin rot. None of the other fish do
