Hey all i guess this is my first real writeup, please give me thoughts, idea, opinions.
Over my 2-3 years of raising flowerhorns, and have come across fungus, hith, and heater burn and any sort of open sore/wound to my flowerhorn i would treat it all the same way.
Only two things i use are SALT/H202 3%
and so far seems to work quickly and immediately, this may seem cruel or unorthodox. but i usually net the fist with the problem clean the wound with a clean cotton swab (fungus or any sort of disease looking growth), then go ahead and take another cotton swab dip it in H202 and clean the wound. release the fish and watch closely for any changes. Also remembering to keep the water clean to help promote healing. Another method is just a cap full of H202 with salt dissolved and applied the same way. So far it's worked and i haven't had to use any sort of LFS medication.
So what do you guys think anyone else do this?
