This is ust a question on how to cure ich. Do i just put the medicine in or should i move the infected fish in a hospital tank? Also doesnt the plants and the gravel also get infected by the parasites?

well you could turn the temp u to like 86 and that will speed the cycle up of the parasite...i would just make a hospital tank

You have to treat the whole tank for ICH, hospital tank will not work in this case. Salt and heat are the most effective. I would start with a 50% water change. Then add 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons of water and increase heat to 85 degrees. You will see the signs of ICH disapear after a couple days but keep the heat up for at least 14 days to kill of whats in the gravel.

they will all most likely have it the ich parasite can live in the gills for up to 3 months
