After a water change today I spotted a couple white spots on a few of my clown loaches. I was hoping they were bubbles but no such luck. I've been reading and I keep seeing different salt amounts recommended.

Tankmates are Denisoni Barbs and a Zebra Danio, and I don't think the barbs will like too high of a temperature. I will put it up to 81 or 82 but I don't think they will like much higher.

So I have read anything from 1Tbs per five gallons to 5Tbs per five gallons, and I'm not sure what to use. Any help would be appreciated. Oh, they are currently in a 37 gallon tank with an Aquaclear 70 if that makes any difference.

Don't increase the temperature since you have barbs which I am also aware will not tolerate the heat. Just keep the temperature consistent at 78 degrees Fahrenheit and treat with salt for two weeks. Be sure to dissolve table salt thoroughly and add slowly to avoid osmotic shock. Dosage is a tablespoon per 5g. Good luck.

Thank you very much! I actually already increased the temp to 82 and the barbs are doing just fine, they just pigged out on NLS pellets. If they start to show signs of stress I will lower it. I will start to add my salt today, thanks again!
