I set up a new tank with several small sunfish. A pair of pumpkinseeds, a bluegill and a green sunfish. The green sunfish came from the adoption/plant tank at Petco but the other 3 are wild caught. I noticed on the bluegill and the female pumpkinseed that there are what appear to be 1 or 2 tiny white worm like objects near the base of the anal fins. Both of these fish have slightly sunkin bellys but they are feeding well on earthworms and crickets. This tank is not fully cycled and there is no heat source. I was wondering what type of treatment I could use that would not harm the bacteria. These fish came from a local pond where they are extremely over populated and attack anything that resembles food. Thanks in advance.
