is it safe to use metafix(?) in a tank with other fish in it? im about to operate on my arowana with gill curl and someone mentioned to use metafix to help it heal faster. i have no other tank for it. will it effect other fish in the tank too?

Melafix is totally safe with all types of fish, even shrimps and snails will be fine. Usew it for 7 days at the recommended dose and it will speed up the healing process, just make sure you have plenty of areation wwhen using it and that u have removed any carbon from the filter.
