At petco yesterday I was going to buy this but for some reason I didn’t think it looked real but after I left I looked it up and i think it’s really cool. Would one of these work in my aquarium?E260C0EF-5266-4B94-81FD-EF9ADF3669E9.png

Depends...what kind of work do you want it to do? It won't clean your filter, change your water or feed your fish...but if you just want it to live and grow, the best I can tell you is that Bolbitis is one of those plants that even grow for me, and that means it is easy and tough. :) Actually, some of those pics look more like Java Fern to me.

But...don't you have one of those weird critters with the giant pimple on its head? I've heard that while blundering around looking for other fish to beat up they can damage their pimples on decor. You need a pimple-fish specialist. Magnus_Bane Magnus_Bane ?

I’m taking about bulbitis. I have a Java fern and Anubias with my flowerhorn and he doesn’t mess with them too much, he messes with the fern a bit but doesn’t touch the Anubias.

Some plants have a naturally bad taste to em so allot of fish won't even bother with em. Anubias can be one of them depending on the specie.

I would also so spider plants if it wasn't just the fact that spider plants aren't aquatic. Also spider plants are toxic to eat anyways so it makes sense for em to taste terrible.

As for aquarium plants I would say that some swords are bad tasting, atleast from how the fish refuse to touch the melon sword I have atm. Granted it could just be that none of my fish like it while somebody else's fish may think it's the tastiest thing ever.

You could also consider black beard algae to be a bad tasting plant as most algae eaters refuse to touch the stuff.
