ok,just for the heck of it i bought 2 pasrrots to put in my 60g flowerhorn tank. i thpought since i had another bichir tank at schoo, if it didnt work out i would put the two parrot with the bichirs. so far theres jsut a lil chase and then its settled down. the flowerrhorn cant even like bite the parrots so im tinking its going well. wat do u guys think?ill also post a vid later

Very Nice Fh and Bp!!! Also love the setup! but if the flowerhorn pairs off with one of the parots take the other one out immedieatly for they might try kill it

This is a classic case of breeding and pairing for Killin parrot/bonzai parrot...
ya.. def see how it works out.. they just might breed..

If u know where Angel Aquarium is on colima.. (across from Nolan).. u'll see a tank full of killin parrot in there...

I recommend getting a flowerpot base so that they might use it as a nest.. if your looking into breeding them...

They should be fine... parrots can ususally hold themselves against FHs.
 
I highly recommend removing some of the decorations... (PIG) ... and replace it with a flowerpot BASE, not POT

u can get these in micheals crafts...

As for how long.. it may take days OR months.. depend how mature the parrots are.. I know the FH is very mature..

give it sometime.. but for now.. no fish inside that tank.. and u might need another tank for the frys.... so its a huge commitment..

But wait around and see how it goes. good luck!
