Today is Veterans Day. Not alot of people know, or respect this day. Some people think its another holiday where you don't have to got to school, or work. I am proud to to have served in the Army, i have been depolyed to Operratioin Enduring Freedom, And Operation Iraqi Freedom. I have lost many brothers in arms. It was real hard for me to adjust to civilian life when i first got out of the military. Hearing people moan and gripe over the stupidest crap. In my eyes i was couldn't fathom why they were like this. I realized they did not cherish what they have. This is a tribute to all the men, women, and the fallen who have served. You are not forgotten.

Our Aquatics class (which consists of 11 people :( ) we put out 430 American flags yesterday to represent Veterans Day today. All the emails we received it was well worth working out in the freezing cold.

FLAG ETIQUETTE:
Here are some tips to make sure your tribute is a respectful one:
Display the flag only between sunrise and sunset on buildings and stationary flagstaffs. The flag may be displayed for twenty-four hours if illuminated in darkness.
Do not display the flag in inclement weather.
Whether displaying the flag vertically or horizontally, make sure the canton of stars is visible on the upper left-hand side.
Do not let the flag touch the ground.
An unusable flag that is damaged and worn and can no longer be displayed should be destroyed in a dignified way by burning.
When not on display, the flag should be respectfully folded into a triangle, symbolizing the tricorn hats worn by colonial soldiers in the Revolutionary War.
