Just putting this info out in case it helps any other pbass owner. I have always noticed my bass looks outside his environment, always trying to chase the cat or what not. As of now he is approx. 10 in and has been on blood worms and tilapia. After one full day without food, I took a pellet and acted like i was dropping it in. Instead, I caught it outside the tank with my hand. This made him very excited.I did this twice before actually dropping it into the water. He hit it and ate it! I alternated tilapia and pellet until he figured out he did not want the pellet (this was last night). Today he hit the pellet just like it was tilapia (after tricking a few times outside the tank)! Must be instinct for chasing food...let me know if this works for anyone else.
